FROM THE DESK OF  Mrs. Oswald, Library/Media Specialist

"If you want your child to be brilliant, read them fairy tales. If you want your child to be really brilliant, read them more fairy tales."
-- Attributed to Albert Einstein

Mrs. Oswald has been chosen as one of the Air Force Association's Educator Grant recipients for 2008.
The Educator Grant was created to assist elementary and secondary educators' efforts to introduce or continue to establish knowledge of science, technology, engineering and math in the classroom. Mrs. Oswald received $250 to purchase new videos and DVDs to be part of the  theme of "Space, Science and Technology" taking place in the Library Media Center during January, February and March. These videos and DVDs will be added to the Professional Collection in the Library Media Center for checkout by all staff.

Go to http://destiny.littletonschools.org and look in the catalog under your subject - you can pick out which book(s) you want, and Mrs. Oswald can pull them for your child.
